Zone management
To manage or create zones go to Settings -> Zones, first select the Cell where the Zone is located.
A map of the Cell will appear, showing Zones. Beneath the map is a list of Zones.
Editing Zones
To edit a Zone click on the Edit Zones button.
Each existing Zone will display several white dots which can be moved to resize the Zone.
The Zone’s position can also be moved by dragging the Zone with the ‘hand’ cursor.
You can also edit the Zone name and Customise the colour.
To edit a Zones attributes, click on the Zone name in the Fixed Location Zone list.
On the edit Zone page you can edit:
Zone name: is the name of the zone as it will appear when you are locating assets, we recommend you name your zones in a way that will help the users understand its position in the building.
Zone capacity: you can set limits/guidance on the number of assets that should be present in a Zone.
Zone speed
Click Save once your changes have been made.
Create New Zone
Click on the Edit Zones button.
To create a new Zone click on the Polygon shape.
This will allow you to create the Zone outline. Once the outline is complete you will be able to give the Zone a name and customise the colour.
Click Save Zones to save the new Zone.
Delete Zone
Click on the Zone name in the Fixed Location Zone list.
It is not possible to delete a zone if there are detectors assigned to the zone. See Relocating-detectors for more information.
To delete the Zone click on the Delete button at the bottom of the page.
