Relocating detectors

To manage a detector goto Settings -> Detectors, here you will see a list of all available detectors. You can see which cell, building and business it is assigned to along with what type of detector it is (Active/Display) and the health.

If you scroll down you will also be able to see the any detectors which have been set up but as yet have not been assigned to a Zone.

Detectors shown in red mean that there is some kind of warning that requires attention.

If you click on one of the detectors you will be taken to the edit page below.

Once you have selected a detector to edit you will see some options and some fixed fields. Status type and id are repeated information from the list before. (UUID is a unique id for the detector)

Zone: This drop down will let you select which zone the detector is in, when an asset is detected by this detector it will list the zone you select here as its location.

Range: This lets you tune the range of the detector, standard should be used for almost all cases with short for special situations as advised by Pathfindr.

Notes: You can add notes to detect for example 'Moved from pillar A to pillar B to test better results'

Detector Location: Drag and drop the location of where the detector is installed in the building, The zone that you have assigned will show with a blue bounding box. The detector should be within the zone bounding box as this is the location that will be described to the user. If the detector location is outside the zone consider assigning to another zone or changing the bounds of the zone in zone settings.
