Smart Fluid Level Monitors
Our Smart Fluid Level Monitor is a standalone device that operates globally, offering data on fluid levels, location, temperature, and motion. It uses a built-in radar to measure fluid levels in plastic containers. For location tracking, it employs a combination of GPS, cellular, and LoRa-WAN methods. With a long-lasting rechargeable battery, our Smart Fluid Level Monitor is perfect for global asset tracking. It can also interact with in-facility hardware such as Detectors, scan for BLE and UWB Tags, and be used to set up fluid level and Geo-Fencing and alerts.
How it works:
The device is a combination of a GPS tracker with a radar. The radar scans the container every 20 minutes to take a fluid level reading. This is stored on the GPS tracker until its scheduled data broadcast.
Broadcasts intervals range from every 5 minutes to 9 days. Consideration needs to be made on conserving battery life, as broadcasting data is power hungry and wont last long at 5 minute intervals.
Although there are many factors that affect battery life, here is what you can expect:
24 hour broadcast frequency = 12 month battery life
You can charge the device using a USB-C cable and it takes roughly
