### More than location tracking

Pathfindr is an asset tracking platform. Use it for location plus condition and utilisation monitoring.

The portal is your tracking database. It stores data from your trackers.

You can use it to:

* Locate assets (indoor and GPS)
* Monitor temperature, humidity, and other environmental signals
* Track dwell time and movement
* Detect impacts
* Identify zone bottlenecks

If you want an onboarding call, submit a request via [Raise a support ticket](/raise-a-support-ticket.md).

Head over to our [website](https://www.pathfindr.co.uk/) for a fuller overview of solutions:

### Getting Started

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### 1) Launch your assets

Create the tracking relationship between your physical asset and a tracker.

* If you’re using the newer flow: [Launch Asset (new)](/pathfindr-portal-guides/asset-management/launch-asset-new.md)
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### 2) Find what you need

Use search for quick lookups. Use reports when you need more filters or exports.

* [Quick Search](/pathfindr-portal-guides/asset-management/quick-search.md)
* [Advanced Searches](/pathfindr-portal-guides/asset-management/advanced-searches.md)
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### 3) Check permissions and admin features

Some actions are limited by role. System settings and hardware management are typically admin-only.

* [User roles & permissions](/pathfindr-portal-guides/system-administration/user-management/user-roles-and-permissions.md)
* [System Administration](/pathfindr-portal-guides/system-administration.md)
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### 4) Get help

If you can’t find what you need, contact support.

* [Raise a support ticket](/raise-a-support-ticket.md)
  {% endstep %}
  {% endstepper %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Use the AI search in the top-right. Ask a question in plain English.
