Heatmaps (New)

Heatmaps show asset concentration on a building map.

Use them to spot trends and prioritise actions without digging through tables.

How heatmaps work

Heatmaps show relative density, not exact counts.

Each asset adds a marker to the map. Areas with many nearby markers appear redder, while areas with fewer assets appear lighter or blue.

The colour scale adapts to what’s currently shown.

That means filters and zoom level can change the colours.

When heatmaps look “empty”

Heatmaps work best with a larger number of assets.

If only a few assets are shown (for example, four), you may only see faint blue shading.

Heatmaps are relative. Red means “denser than other visible areas”, not a fixed threshold.
