Attributes

What is an attribute?

By default Pathfindr assets require two attributes, Serial Number and Part Number. User created attributes allow a range of descriptive or production information to be stored against an asset.

Attribute types

Attribute data types can be one of the following:

• Boolean

• Number

• Text

• File

• List

Creating an attribute

At the bottom of the Settings -> Attributes view, you will find a 'Add new attribute' button.

This will allow you to the Create attribute view, here you can specify the name and Data type for your new attributes. These attribute names are global across all business units to prevent duplication.
