Launch Asset

To launch an asset, head to Asset Management > Launch Asset > Launch Single Asset and follow the steps below:

Select your business unit

This field will not be editable if you are only associated with a single business unit

Input asset serial #.

The asset serial number must be unique

Select part # or asset type

If you have a specific part number then please enter it, when you start to type the matching part/asset types will be returned in the field.

Click on 'launch details'

Additional (optional) Fields

Attributes. If there are additional attributes to be provided, you can choose these from the asset type dropdown and then enter the relevant information. If no presented options are suitable then simply select the "No additional attributes" option.

Asset Flags. If your business has user defined asset flags (first article / rework / damaged), you can choose them on this page.

Device Management Team. Select the team that will be responsible for maintaining the tracker.

Assign Tracker

Virtually assign the tracker to the asset, inputting the serial number on the side of the tracker.
